Supporting individuals with every aspect of their day to day lives with everyday tasks such as cooking, shopping, personal care and cleaning. It also involves supporting individuals to access and engage in their communities, going to activities and on days out. We have roles within supported living as well as Day Opportunities and Community Support. Support levels vary depending on the individuals you are working with however the fun and diversity of the role does not! No day is the same and no individual is the same. Person centred care is at the heart of what we do. You will be a valued member of the Style Acre family, making a huge difference to people we support and their families.

No! We don’t look for any specific qualifications or experience. Just a positive can-do attitude and values. We provide comprehensive training during the Induction period and first three months of employment, which is update throughout your employment with the organisation.

As this post requires a DBS check, and is a regulated position, we need your DBS and two references back before we can offer a start date. Our aim is 30 days from interview to start date however this can vary if there is a hold up with the DBS check which is outsourced, or we are struggling to obtain the necessary references. We will always communicate with you throughout the process and endeavour to get you started as soon as possible.

This is variable and hard to predict. It could take 1 day or 1 month! We are able to escalate checks should they go over 60 days in process however this is rare. Again, we will always communicate with you throughout the process and endeavour to get you started as soon as possible.

If your CV is shortlist, you will be invited to a telephone interview. Following a successful telephone interview, you will be invited to the second stage of the interview process which is a service visit. This is an opportunity to go to the service that you will potentially be working at, meet the people we support and colleagues and decide if the role is a good fit for you, and us!

At Style Acre, we respect your personal style and choices in relation to your appearance. However, you are always expected to dress appropriately in relation to your role.

“There is nothing more important to us than the peace of mind we have because of Style Acre.”
